In order to be considered for an award, students must provide both an itemized budget and a statement (500 words max.) answering the question: \u0026quot;How will a Prototype Award help me or my team win the InVenture Prize?\u0026quot;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAll application materials must be submitted through the online form\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.inventureprize.gatech.edu\/prototype-award-application\u0022 rel=\u0022nofollow\u0022\u003Ehere\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;by\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003ENovember 10, 2017\u003C\/strong\u003E for Round 1 of the Prototype Awards or by\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003EDecember 08, 2017\u003C\/strong\u003E for Round 2 of the Prototype Awards.\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.inventureprize.gatech.edu\/sites\/default\/files\/pages\/files\/sample_prototype_application.pdf\u0022 rel=\u0022nofollow\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EHere\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;is an example of a quality application.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EApplicants must complete the \u0026quot;Invention Details\u0026quot; section of registration prior to the deadline in order to be considered for a Prototype Award. Awards will be made on a rolling basis, but all will be announced by December 15, 2017. Awards can only be used to buy materials and supplies for prototype construction. Students participating in project courses where funds are provided by Georgia Tech are not eligible for this award. Be sure to include the names and emails of all team members when submitting an application. Constructing a prototype is not necessary to win the InVenture Prize, but it may be helpful.
