  <body><![CDATA[<p><strong>Speaker:</strong> Mr. Jason Chang, In-house Patent Attorney, AT&amp;T</p><p><strong>Seminar Title:</strong>&nbsp;<em>Patents 101</em></p><p><strong>Abstract:<br /></strong>This seminar will provide participants with a practical overview of U.S. patents and current issues.&nbsp; Participants will learn the basic patenting process and some of the issues that they may face as students, engineers, or entrepreneurs.&nbsp; The seminar will also provide guidance on those interested in a career as a patent agent or attorney.<strong><br /> <br /> </strong></p><p><strong class="BodyText">Speaker Bio:</strong><br />Mr. Jason Chang received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2001 and his law degree from Harvard Law School in 2004.&nbsp; After graduation from law school, he was an associate at Sutherland Asbill and Brennan LLP, where we helped companies obtain and protect their intellectual property (IP).&nbsp; He is now an in-house patent attorney at AT&amp;T, where he oversees the patent prosecution group.</p><p><strong class="BodyText"><br /></strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p>]]></body>
