He made this announcement during a staff meeting earlier today.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAccording to Executive Vice President for Research Steve Cross, EI\u003Csup\u003E2\u003C\/sup\u003E has been a driving force in the growth of Georgia Tech\u0027s innovation ecosystem, helping expand the Institute\u0027s economic impact and job creation for the state. \u0022We are grateful for Stephen\u0027s seven years of service in this capacity and his support to EI\u003Csup\u003E2\u003C\/sup\u003E, Georgia Tech and Georgia,\u0022 said Cross. \u201cEI\u003Csup\u003E2\u003C\/sup\u003E has experienced remarkable success across all of its programs in recent years under Stephen\u2019s leadership.
