It\u2019s the season of fall festivals, many of which coincide with Georgia Tech\u2019s fall break.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ECheck out some of these events below to celebrate the break from classes and kick-off the fall season.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EThe Ferst Center for the Arts hosts \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/arts.gatech.edu\/ferstcenter\/calendar\/day\/2015\/10\/08\/271\u0022\u003E\u003Cem\u003EStreb:Forces\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E, a high-thrills show that merges acrobatics, dance, and machinery,\u0026nbsp;on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7:30 p.m. and \u0026nbsp;Friday, Oct. 9, at 8 p.m.\u0026nbsp;On Saturday, \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/arts.gatech.edu\/ferstcenter\/calendar\/day\/2015\/10\/10\/323\u0022\u003ENPR \u003C\/a\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/arts.gatech.edu\/ferstcenter\/calendar\/day\/2015\/10\/10\/323\u0022\u003E\u003Cem\u003ERadioLab\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/arts.gatech.edu\/ferstcenter\/calendar\/day\/2015\/10\/10\/323\u0022\u003E\u0027s Jad Abumrad\u003C\/a\u003E will be at the Ferst Center at 8 p.m. Student tickets to all shows are $10 and can be purchased at the Ferst Center Box Office weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.ramblinwreck.com\/sports\/w-volley\/geot-w-volley-body.html\u0022\u003EGeorgia Tech Women\u0027s Volleyball\u003C\/a\u003E hosts Louisville on Friday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. at the O\u0027Keefe Gym. The team then hosts Notre Dame on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 1 p.m.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.ramblinwreck.com\/sports\/w-softbl\/geot-w-softbl-body.html\u0022\u003EGeorgia Tech Softball\u003C\/a\u003E hosts Chipola on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 2 p.m. at Mewborn Field.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EArt on the Atlanta BeltLine is a free exhibit displayed along the BeltLine through November. Now the largest temporary public art exhibition in the South, this event showcases four miles of visual and performing art. On Oct. 10, 11, and 16, Art on the Atlanta BeltLine will host live performers to accompany the stationary art display. Throughout the weekend the festival will host parades, performances, and events downtown. It\u2019s open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Oct. 9 \u2013 18. Tickets are $9 per person if purchased online, $10 at the gate, and $8 on Tuesday. The fair has a variety of rides, vendors, events, and concerts, so be sure to check the schedule for the day you plan to go: \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/georgianationalfair.com\/\u0022\u003Ewww.georgianationalfair.com\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EA collaboration event between the City of Marietta and the Cobb Museum of Art brings \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.chalktoberfest.com\/\u0022\u003EChalktoberfest\u003C\/a\u003E to Marietta Square. The event is free and is held Oct. 10 \u2013 11. There will be live music, food, and over 50 professional artists chalking the streets of Marietta.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EThe \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.georgiaapplefestival.org\/\u0022\u003EGeorgia Apple Festival\u003C\/a\u003E is held in Ellijay, Georgia, Oct. 10 \u2013 11 and Oct. 17 \u2013 18. Now in its 44th year, the festival has expanded to host over 300 vendors, a parade, and an antique car show. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the festival.
