It is a very different thing to claim that formal teaching in phonetics can have an impact on improving the students\u2019 pronunciation. For this reason, there have been studies devoted to test whether formal instruction is an effective way of improving the students\u2019 pronunciation. For today\u0027s language classrooms, it is\u0026nbsp;important to think about what technology is bringing to the pronunciation class and how best to guide learners through the experience.\u0026nbsp;Speech Analyzer (\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.sil.org\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003Ewww.sil.org\u003C\/a\u003E) has been primarily designed to be used by anyone who is doing investigative research and teaching into the phonetics of a language.
