He has been actively involved in encouraging interest in Indian classical music and dance on various campuses during his academic career. Although trained in the Carnatic violin, one of his hobbies is experimenting with other instruments and genres. His most recent experiment is Carnatic music on the electric guitar.\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EDr.Parag Chordia\u003C\/strong\u003E, Asst. Professor - Music Department, Georgia Tech (Hindustani Sarod recital) Pritviraj Bhattacharjee (tabla),\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EParag is a sarod player and is a disciple of Pandit Buddhadev Das Gupta, one of the greatest of all Indian sarodiyas. Before that, he studied with Michael Robbins, a disciple of of two legends of Indian classical music Pandit Radhika Mohan Maitre and Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh.\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003EPritviraj is one of the finest young tabla players in America. He has studied with Ustad Allah Rakha and Ustad Zakir Hussain and has accompanied many of India\u0027s leading artists.\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ERia Mukherjee\u003C\/strong\u003E, Undergrad Student - ISYE Department, GeorgiaTech (Hindustani Vocal recital)\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\u003Cp\u003ERia Mukherjee has received training in Hindustani vocal music under the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya in India, from Kaustav Ray and his father,Pandit Biresh Ray.
