The course teaches students universal precautions as well as the causes of bloodborne diseases, proper personal protective equipment, and the regulatory basis for a bloodborne pathogens program. 

Who Should Attend? All current and prospective Georgia Tech faculty, staff, and students that conduct research in the laboratory environment that involves human materials of any type.
