{"425151":{"#nid":"425151","#data":{"type":"news","title":"American Helicopter Society recognizes research led by AE\u0027s Lakshmi Sankar","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EDr. Lakshmi Sankar\u2019s collaborative research on the resolution of rotocraft icing issues has been recognized with a prestigious Howard Hughes Award by the American Helicopter Society.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ESankar and his seven industry and government collaborators will officially receive the honor during AHS 70th Annual Forum \u0026amp; Technology Display, to be held May 21 in Montr\u00e9al, Qu\u00e9bec, Canada.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe multi-faceted research team is being recognized for its project,\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003ENRTC\/VLC High Fidelity Icing Analysis and Validation Team\u003C\/em\u003E, which is exploring fundamental aspects of rotorcraft icing and the validation of an icing analysis tool suite.
