424871 news 1436894662 1475896744 <![CDATA[New Version of Form I-20 Released]]> SEVIS recently underwent a major upgrade and one of the changes is a new version of the form I-20. You will receive the new version when a change is made to your I-20, such as a change of major, request for OPT, updated financial information, etc. All students must have the new version by July 2016 so if a change has not been made on your I-20 by this date, OIE will ensure that you have a copy of the new version.

While there are some changes to the new I-20, the included information has not changed significantly, and the new look should have no or limited impact when you’re applying for benefits such as a driver’s license or social security number. When you get the new version of the I-20, please make sure to review the information carefully to ensure that it’s correct.
