Bakir is an associate professor in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and holds the ON Semiconductor Junior Professorship.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe two topics on which he will lecture are \u201cEmerging Interconnection Architectures and Technologies\u201d and \u201cHeterogeneous System Design and Integration.\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EBakir has been a member of the ECE faculty since 2010. He directs the Integrated 3D Systems Group, where he and his team explore the design, fabrication, and characterization of 3D electronic systems and advanced interconnect networks.
