Global Atlanta featured a conversation with \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.iac.gatech.edu\/faculty-and-staff\/faculty\/bio\/knoespel\u0022\u003EKen Knoespal\u003C\/a\u003E, professor in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication, who played a significant role in bringing the exhibition to campus.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cblockquote\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u201cThere\u2019s a real sense of this being current,\u201d said Dr. Knoespel, who compared Duth cartographer Joan Blaeu\u2019s telescopic approach to Google Earth technology. Many pages offer detailed glimpses into the architectural and agricultural layout of major cities and regions that serve as a \u201czoom-in\u201d function for a pre-digital society.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u201cGoogle Earth, Google Blaeu,\u201d Dr. Knoespel joked. \u201cYou can enter the space.\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E\u003C\/blockquote\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe exhibition features a 17th Century Grooten Atlas, one of only a few still left in existence, and will be on display at the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.ipst.gatech.edu\/amp\/exhibits\/index.htm\u0022\u003EMuseum of Papermaking\u003C\/a\u003E until May 15, 2015.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cblockquote\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u201cEvery time I come in here I can see something I haven\u2019t seen before,\u201d Dr. Knoespel said with a grin. \u201cWhere does that road go?
