This award recognizes exceptional achievements in materials research and national and international leadership in materials science.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Marder laboratory designs, builds, applies, and understands molecules that control the movement of electrons in nonlinear optics materials, organic electronics, and surface coatings.
