The participatory process involves examining electric power supply and demand options in the context of a range of possible future scenarios of economic growth, technological progress, and environmental regulations such as EPA\u0027s proposed Clean Power Plan.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EA particular focus of the FEPS project is the role of distributed solar photovoltaics (PV) and combined heat and power (CHP) in the future of electric power in the South.
