  <body><![CDATA[<p>Mobile software startup, StarMobile has raised an undisclosed round from&nbsp;<a href="http://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/blog/atlantech/2014/04/atlanta/search/results?q=Webb">Webb</a>Investment Network (WIN), the investment vehicle of Yahoo Chairman&nbsp;<a href="http://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/blog/atlantech/2014/04/atlanta/search/results?q=Maynard%20Webb">Maynard Webb</a>.</p><p>StarMobile, a&nbsp;<a class="ct saveLink" href="http://www.bizjournals.com/profiles/company/us/ga/atlanta/georgia_tech/3331863">Georgia Tech</a>&nbsp;spinoff, says its technology can convert desktop enterprise software, such as&nbsp;<a class="ct saveLink" href="http://www.bizjournals.com/profiles/company/us/ca/san_francisco/salesforcecom_inc/14920">Salesforce.com</a>,&nbsp;<a class="ct saveLink" href="http://www.bizjournals.com/profiles/company/us/ca/redwood_city/oracle_corporation/19476">Oracle</a>and SAP, into a mobile applications for 80 percent less than third-party mobile platforms.&nbsp;</p><p>StarMobile, which targets Global 2000 companies, gets paid a monthly fee for the use of the platform. Customer contracts run between one-and-three years.</p>]]></body>
