The MyJourney Compass project, a partnership involving researchers at Georgia Tech and practitioners and patients in the Rome area, has taken records-sharing to a whole new level.G.P. “Bud” Peterson, president of Georgia Institute of Technology, joined health care practitioners, patients and politicians at Redmond Regional Medical Center on Tuesday afternoon to review the project, funded by a $1.7 million Challenge Grant from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
