This member data potentially includes names, birth dates, member ID and Social Security numbers, addresses, and employment information of current and former BCBSGa members across the System. Based on what Anthem has been able to determine at this time, there is no evidence that banking, credit card, or confidential medical information were targeted or compromised. This breach may affect an estimated 80 million members.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAnthem and BCBSGa continue to research the extent of the attack and the impact on USG employees. Anthem has said it will individually notify current and former members whose information has been accessed, and will provide credit monitoring and identity protection services free of charge.
