Students will work as teams to upcycle an early 20\u003Csup\u003Eth\u003C\/sup\u003E-century single-story attached commercial building in downtown Atlanta for Eyedrum Art \u0026amp; Music Gallery, an artist-run non-profit.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u201cThanks to the generosity of Ms. Epsten, our senior students will have the opportunity to gain experience working on a project with such a strong focus on sustainable issues,\u201d said Sabir Khan, associate professor of architecture and the faculty lead for the studio. \u201cThis project does not start with a blank slate, students must work with what\u2019s there to revitalize a structure with a past, and hopefully, with a strong future.\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe competition will be judged by both faculty and members of the Epsten Group, and the winners will receive cash prizes.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EDagmar B.
