  <title><![CDATA[Utz and Johnson Publish Essays  in Studies in Medievalism]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Valerie B. Johnson, a second year Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow, wrote "Ecomedievalism: Applying Ecotheory to Medievalism and Neomedievalism, "and Richard Utz, LMC Chair, wrote "Medievalism Studies and the Subject of Religion."</p><p>The volume, which was edited by Karl Fugelso, Vincent Ferré, and Alicia C. Montoya and includes seven additional essays, has an ambitious agenda:</p><ul><li>Define medievalism's margins and its role in marginalizing other fields, ideas, people, places, and events</li><li>Provide tools and models for exploring those issues</li><li>Indicate new subjects to which they might apply.</li></ul>]]></body>
