A significant part of his past and ongoing research addresses problems related to the structural analysis and the supervisory control of flexibly automated production and workflow management systems, and the development of effective scheduling policies for these environments.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe IEEE is the world\u0027s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity.
