ARIADNA PERICH CAPDEFERRO is an architect and Assistant Dean for Cultural Activities atETSAB-UPC, Escola Tècnica Superior d'Arquitectura de Barcelona - Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where she teaches design studios, oversees cultural programming, organizes conferences, and curates exhibitions. She has been guest tutor at the University of Edinburgh School of Arts, Culture & Environment, IED Barcelona, UIC-ESARQ, and the Ingegneria Edile-Architettura at the University of Pisa. Since 2011, she is a member of the research group FORM. She has published in SAN ROCCO ("Being in-between" and "Toyo Ito's Sendai Mediatheque: norms and the transgression of an architectural system", nº4 and nº8), in DPA ("Those secretly, necessary things. The Amsterdam Municipal Orphanage from Aldo van Eyck", nº 27-28), and most recently in Palimpsesto ("Please choose hard  cover when possible, thank you", nº11) on the exhibition “Elements of Architecture" at the 14th International Architecture Venice Biennale. She won first prize in the Barcelona City Council’s two-stage competition “The Gates of Collserola” (July 2012).
