  <title><![CDATA[Open House 11/18 for spring 2015 vacancies]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>The Women, Science, and Technology Learning Community (WST Lrn C), an innovative joint venture of the Center for the Study of Women, Science, and Technology (WST Center) and the Georgia Tech Department of Housing, connects students and faculty. The WST Lrn C offers programs addressing research and professional issues for women students in any Georgia Tech major. In 2014-15 the WST Lrn C includes 48 students living in Stein and Goldin Houses (4th St. Apartments A and B), who attend monthly dinners, bi-weekly lunches, campus receptions, and research panels. WST Lrn C residents also benefit from having faculty mentors and from participating in ThinkBig events. ALL Georgia Tech students and WST Mentors are welcome to attend WST and WST Learning Community events; please RSVP.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>]]></body>

Supported by the <a href="http://www.diversity.gatech.edu">Office of the Vice President for Institute Diversity</a>, the WST Center brings together faculty and students, addressing issues of gender, science, and technology in research and programmatic initiatives at institutional, national, and global levels. In key characteristics, the WST Center is interdisciplinary, cooperative in partnerships with students, and collaborative across Georgia Tech.
