The LEED certification is recognized across the globe\u0026nbsp;as the premier mark of achievement in green building.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EBuilt in the 1920s, renovation of the Hall building was completed in 2010 and dedicated in the name of 1967 Tech graduate Colonel Stephen C. Hall marking over 30 years of support for the Institute.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe new LEED certification is an indicator of Georgia Tech\u0027s commitment to sustainable practices in designing, constructing, and maintaining buildings and communities across campus.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EHall is the second Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts building to achieve the LEED Gold award.
