All are welcome to attend. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;As the first female president and CEO in the 154-year history of the Metro Atlanta Chamber, Hala Moddelmog serves as a catalyst for business partnerships and coalitions to drive economic growth in the region. A multi-dimensional leader with more than 19 years in president and CEO roles, Moddelmog is well-respected for her expertise in strategic planning, marketing, branding and assembling and managing high performance teams.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;Prior to joining MAC, Moddelmog was president of Atlanta-based Arby\u2019s Restaurant Group, an international quick-service restaurant chain with approximately 3,500 units and annual system-wide sales of approximately $3 billion.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;In 2006, she was chosen as president and CEO of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world\u2019s largest grassroots organization working to eradicate breast cancer. While there, Moddelmog established a world-renowned Scientific Advisory Board with an annual grant of $100 million for scientific research.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;Moddelmog was also the first woman to lead an international restaurant company when, in 1995, she was named president of Church\u2019s Chicken, the world\u2019s third largest chicken brand with more than 1,500 restaurants in 15 countries and nearly $1 billion in system sales.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u003Cem\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E\u003Cem\u003EAbout the Impact Speaker Series:\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ESince 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from \u0022building a venture around intellectual capital\u0022 to \u0022successful entrepreneurship in large organizations\u0022 and \u0022socially responsible leadership\u0022.
