The first year of training is followed by two years of ongoing support once a teacher is placed in a teaching job.\u0026nbsp; The goal of TCPI is to increase the percentage of Teacher of Color in education, to create school environments where all students receive a multi-ethnic education, and to help schools become more inclusive environments.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EApplicants must be sophomores, juniors, seniors or graduates of accredited colleges or universities, have a 3.0 undergraduate GPA or higher and seriously considering a career in education.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.sbalumni.org\/?page=BecomeATeacher\u0022\u003ETCPI applications\u003C\/a\u003E are now available.
