A place where much of the work accomplished is never viewed by the general public, or even scientists in other disciplines. \u0026nbsp;However, quite a few beautiful, interesting, and inventive creations are being built in the IEN Marcus Nanotechnology labs on a daily basis. The only problem for those interested in checking out the work of our engineers is that they would need eyes able to magnify objects up to 500,000 times their actual size to see them.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe IEN Characterization team opened a visual door to these minuscule works of art last month in their inaugural Monthly Image Contest.
