Breakthrough Atlanta is a year round academic enrichment program for students in the Atlanta Public Schools system.  Beginning in the summer before entering 7th grade, students partake in a beneficial, rigorous, and fun-filled curriculum of math, history, science, and language arts.  They also take part in exciting cultural programs and electives such as drama, dance, basketball, and more.  During the school year, the program meets at The Lovett School twice a month on Saturdays for academic and co-curricular enrichment. 

What can the Pre-Teaching Breakthrough Atlanta internship offer me?

The Pre-Teaching program at Georgia Tech and Breakthrough Atlanta offers Tech students an invaluable opportunity to explore K-12 teaching as a career choice, build leadership skills, and help the community while earning money and internship credit through the Georgia Tech Center of Career Discovery and Development.
