282501 news 1394539068 1475896558 <![CDATA[Welcome Dr. Aby Parsons, Inaugural Director of the LGBTQIA Resource Center]]> We are pleased to announce that Dr. Aby Parsons has been named the inaugural Director of the LGBTQIA Resource Center and has joined Georgia Tech as of April 1, 2014. Aby comes to us from Emory University where she worked in their Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Life.

In her new role, Aby will provide education, support, and advocacy for LGBTQIA-identified students and allies, and will serve as a laison to faculty and staff.

This is an historical moment for Georgia Tech, and Aby is excited about collaborating with you to make Georgia Tech an inclusive environment for all.
