It is staffed by Prototyping Instructors, student volunteers who are on hand to train you and help with your projects. It is located in the rotunda of the Van Leer Building, in the heart of Georgia Tech\u2019s campus. The IDC opened in September 2018 to provide the Georgia Tech community an accessible engineering space. Here, students can cultivate their making skills, create prototypes for their next big idea, and even build out their personal projects for fun!\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Hive is one of the four major makerspaces on GT campus (along with the Invention Studio, the MILL, and the Aero Maker Space).
