  <title><![CDATA[Scholarships for First Generation Students at Georgia Tech]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs is proud to award&nbsp;<em>Coca-Cola Mobility Scholarships&nbsp;</em>and<em>&nbsp;Graduate Fellowships for First Generation College Students</em>. &nbsp;Students who are the first in their family to attend college will have the opportunity to gain&nbsp;global&nbsp;perspectives&nbsp;and&nbsp;experience&nbsp;abroad through a generous grant&nbsp;&nbsp;from the Coca-Cola Foundation. &nbsp;The $1.13 million pledge&nbsp;to&nbsp;Campaign&nbsp;Georgia&nbsp;Tech&nbsp;will provide&nbsp;funding&nbsp;to enable first-generation college students to take courses in the Sam Nunn School and will underwrite complementary study and work abroad programs in Latin America, Asia, and Europe.</p><p class="p1">The grant is designed to benefit both undergraduate and graduate students. &nbsp;In addition to tuition, fees, and&nbsp;study/work&nbsp;abroad&nbsp;opportunities,&nbsp;the funding will also support internships and career development programs.</p><p class="p1">&nbsp;</p><p class="p1">These funds are available four categories. &nbsp;</p><p class="p1"><br /></p>&nbsp;1. &nbsp;Up to&nbsp;<strong>$5000</strong>&nbsp;for overseas Summer Study Abroad experiences in Sam Nunn School of International Affairs Programs for students&nbsp;<strong>FROM ANY MAJOR!</strong><a href="http://gtsoutheastasia.weebly.com/" target="_blank">http://gtsoutheastasia.weebly.com</a>&nbsp; &nbsp;$5000 for students from any major!<a href="http://gteustudyabroad.weebly.com/" target="_blank">http://gteustudyabroad.weebly.com</a>&nbsp; &nbsp;$5000 for students from any major!<a href="http://spainportugal2014.weebly.com/" target="_blank">http://spainportugal2014.weebly.com</a>&nbsp; &nbsp;$5000 for students from any major!&nbsp;&nbsp;2. &nbsp;Up to $1500 for any off campus international experience, including any study abroad and exchange programs outside of the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs. &nbsp;Also international alternative Spring Break programs, international internships, presenting at international conference, etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;3. &nbsp;Up to $500 for off campus experiences in the US, including networking, med school or grad school interviews, conference presentation and much more.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;4. &nbsp;Up to $45,000 per year for graduate programs in International Affairs (looking for students with undergraduate degrees in engineering and sciences and interested in International Affairs)&nbsp;&nbsp;Application is only one page.&nbsp;Requirements:&nbsp;&nbsp;Students must be FIRST GEN as documented by their FAFSA&nbsp;Full Time&nbsp;2.5 GPA&nbsp;US Citizen or Permanent Resident&nbsp;financial need&nbsp;<strong>DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION&nbsp;March 20, but we will hold open to&nbsp;March 24&nbsp;due to Spring Break.</strong>]]></body>
