{"281511":{"#nid":"281511","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Scholarships for First Generation Students at Georgia Tech","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThe Sam Nunn School of International Affairs is proud to award\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003ECoca-Cola Mobility Scholarships\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/em\u003Eand\u003Cem\u003E\u0026nbsp;Graduate Fellowships for First Generation College Students\u003C\/em\u003E. \u0026nbsp;Students who are the first in their family to attend college will have the opportunity to gain\u0026nbsp;global\u0026nbsp;perspectives\u0026nbsp;and\u0026nbsp;experience\u0026nbsp;abroad through a generous grant\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;from the Coca-Cola Foundation. \u0026nbsp;The $1.13 million pledge\u0026nbsp;to\u0026nbsp;Campaign\u0026nbsp;Georgia\u0026nbsp;Tech\u0026nbsp;will provide\u0026nbsp;funding\u0026nbsp;to enable first-generation college students to take courses in the Sam Nunn School and will underwrite complementary study and work abroad programs in Latin America, Asia, and Europe.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p1\u0022\u003EThe grant is designed to benefit both undergraduate and graduate students. \u0026nbsp;In addition to tuition, fees, and\u0026nbsp;study\/work\u0026nbsp;abroad\u0026nbsp;opportunities,\u0026nbsp;the funding will also support internships and career development programs.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p1\u0022\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p1\u0022\u003EThese funds are available four categories. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p1\u0022\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u0026nbsp;1. \u0026nbsp;Up to\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003E$5000\u003C\/strong\u003E\u0026nbsp;for overseas Summer Study Abroad experiences in Sam Nunn School of International Affairs Programs for students\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003EFROM ANY MAJOR!\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/gtsoutheastasia.weebly.com\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003Ehttp:\/\/gtsoutheastasia.weebly.com\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;
