{"269401":{"#nid":"269401","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Southeastern Biogeochemistry Symposium","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp dir=\u0022ltr\u0022\u003EWe are excited to announce the 1st annual Southeastern Biogeochemistry Symposium will be held on April 5 \u2013 6, 2014 at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Southeastern Biogeochemistry Symposium is a unique opportunity for undergraduate students, graduate students, post docs, and faculty members from the southeast to convene and present their latest biogeochemistry research. The Symposium will consist of a keynote address, research presentations from students and post docs, and two poster sessions. \u0026nbsp;The\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca title=\u0022Keynote Address\u0022 href=\u0022http:\/\/www.sbs.gatech.edu\/keynote-address\/\u0022\u003Ekeynote address\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;will be given\u0026nbsp;by Dr. William H. Schlesinger, President of the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies. Registration is open to all fields related to biogeochemistry, including ecology, environmental engineering, geochemistry, microbiology, geology, oceanography, and astrobiology. \u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ELimited student and post doc travel fellowships\u003C\/strong\u003E\u0026nbsp;may be available for those traveling from outside the Atlanta area.
