230971 external_news 1377100267 1475893597 The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced that Phyllis Schneck has been appointed as the new Deputy Under Secretary for Cybersecurity for the National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD).  Currently the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for the Global Public Sector at McAfee, Inc, Schneck received her Ph.D. in Computer Science of Georgia Tech.
