{"228651":{"#nid":"228651","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Quantum Matter and the Entanglement Frontier","body":[{"value":"\u003Ch6\u003ESchool of Physics Nonlinear Science and Mathematical Physics Series: Brian Swingle, Harvard University\u003C\/h6\u003E\u003Cp\u003EEntanglement has recently emerged as an important conceptual tool in quantum many-body physics. \u0026nbsp;I will explain why we care about entanglement in quantum matter and why we are interested in the physics of highly ntangled quantum states. \u0026nbsp;I will also show how entanglement has led us to new phases of matter, new ways to characterize phases and phase transitions, novel numerical techniques, and useful conceptual advances.
