The Department of State has instructed certain U.S. diplomatic posts in 19 cities in the Muslim world be closed through August 10th and issued a \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/travel.state.gov\/travel\/cis_pa_tw\/pa\/pa_6042.html\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EWorld Travel Alert\u003C\/a\u003E citing \u0022an abundance of caution.\u0022 To view a list of the impacted embassies, direct others to the list, or obtain future updates, please visit the \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/travel.state.gov\/travel\/tips\/tips_6037.html\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003EU.S. Department of State website\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EPlease be aware that Georgia Tech international students must arrive to the U.S. and complete OIE international student check-in no later than 4:00pm on August 22nd to ensure that OIE can remove their registration hold and leave time for course registration.
