  <title><![CDATA[Knoespel Publishes Essay on Myth in Baltic World]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Professor and former LMC Chair, Kenneth Knoespel wrote "The Stuff of Myth  and the Baltic Sea," to explore Grass's 1977 novel, <em>The Flounder</em>.</p><p>While the title comes from the fairy tale <em>“The Fisherman and His Wife” </em>(Von dem Fischer un syner Fru) collected by the brothers Grimm, the novel itself examines the inadequacy of any single controlling idea of history.</p><p>To read the essay, go to <a href="http://balticworlds.com/and-the-baltic-sea/" title="http://balticworlds.com/and-the-baltic-sea/">http://balticworlds.com/and-the-baltic-sea/</a>.</p>]]></body>
