Tiffiny Hughes-Troutman, Ph.D., psychologist and coordinator of outreach for the Counseling Center, presented on "Using Moble Handheld Technology to Assist with Outreach to Multicultural Millennials" at the 2013 Association for University and College Counseling Center Outreach (AUCCCO) conference in Gainesville, Florida on June 7. Through this yearly conference, AUCCCO unites college counseling center outreach coordinators across the country with the goal of sharing creative ways of educating students about mental health.

In addition, Tiffiny, who is also on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Psychological Association, published an article entitled "The Value of Mentoring in GPA" for the spring 2013 issue of the Georgia Psychologist. The article highlights how licensed psychologists can strengthen the field by engaging students, newly licensed psychologists, and psychologists in transition through mentoring, support, and advocacy.
