As you prepare to leave, remember that your Georgia Tech connection is never completely severed. Here is a general overview of what happens to your GT account when you enter the world beyond GT.

What You Lose

You become a former student when you have not registered for 2 consecutive terms. Once that happens, many of the online resources will no longer be available to you. But don’t worry, we’ll notify you before we remove your access. Some of these expiring services include:

Your GT Account will always remain active in order for you to access certain systems, and once you are a former student, your password will not expire. Here are some resources that will be available to you for life:

After leaving Tech, you will be able to access some services and resources for only a certain amount of time, or in some cases for a fee. These include:
