The mechanism of flow-induced gene regulation via DNA methylation has not been well studied. The aim of the current study is to discover DNA methylation changes due to disturbed flow that alter gene expression and promote atherosclerosis development.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EKaitao Li - Advisor, Cheng Zhu, PhD\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u0022Characterization of PD-1\/PD-ligand Interaction and its Effects on T-cell Antigen Recognition\u0022\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/strong\u003EPD-1 represents a promising therapeutic target, as blockade of PD-1\/PD ligand has been shown to restore responses of exhausted antigen-specific T cells in a variety of chronic infectious diseases and cancer. However, there lacks a detailed description of in situ PD-1\/PD-ligand interaction.
