McGraw Research Award from the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). The award was presented to Jones at the Engineering Research Council (ERC) Forum in Washington, D.C., on March 4.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIn an effort to encourage the continued productivity and success of researchers throughout their careers, the Curtis W. McGraw Research award was established in 1957 to recognize significant achievements by young researchers in engineering. Qualified candidates must demonstrate research activity in fields ordinarily studied by engineering colleges or institutes as well as achieve engineering advances that emphasize productive thinking and a promise for notable contributions in the future.
