{"192921":{"#nid":"192921","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Library to measure services, spaces, and resources with campus survey","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThe Georgia Tech Library will survey faculty and students February 25 \u2013 March 8 to assess the quality of its services, spaces, and resources.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIn late February, Catherine Murray-Rust, Associate Vice Provost for Learning Excellence and Dean of Libraries, will send an email to randomly selected students and faculty inviting them to take part in the LibQUAL+\u00ae\u0026nbsp; Survey. The survey only takes a few minutes to complete and all responses are voluntary and completely confidential.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u201cWe [the Library] take careful consideration to make informed decisions regarding possible changes or improvements to the services, spaces, and resources we provide,\u201d said Ameet Doshi, head of the User Experience Department and Economics Librarian. \u201cLibQUAL+ is one of the many tools we use to gain feedback from the students and faculty who depend on our services for the advancement of their scholarly work and research at Georgia Tech.\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIn exchange for providing feedback, survey participants will be entered into a drawing to win their choice of one of the following prizes: a Kindle Fire HD, iPad Mini, XBOX 360, or Wii.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe LibQUAL+\u00ae\u0026nbsp; Survey is an important, national initiative aimed at improving library service. Responses help the Library gauge the needs of users and their overall level of satisfaction with Library services. Faculty and students who are randomly selected to participate should expect to receive an email beginning in late-February.
