As your student continues to receive Georgia Tech’s world-class education and moves toward the completion of their undergraduate degree, they have the extraordinary opportunity to study at Georgia Tech Lorraine in the beautiful and historic city of Metz, France. In addition to smaller class sizes and longer “travel-friendly” weekends, your student will be taking the same Georgia Tech courses that are offered in Atlanta, taught in English by Georgia Tech faculty. Sound too good to be true? Well, it’s not.

Georgia Tech established its European campus in Metz, France more than 20 years ago. Since that time, it has educated more than 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students.

The undergraduate program, initially offered only in the summer, now operates year-round. To date, the highest student participation has been during the summer session. However, many say that the best kept secret about Georgia Tech-Lorraine is its fall and spring programs. In fact, the full semester programs offer students the greatest opportunities for cultural immersion. In the regular semesters, the student dorms are populated by French as well as American students (French students vacate the campus in late June). Moreover, the opportunity to travel is nearly five months, rather than the 12-week summer program.

Studying at Georgia Tech-Lorraine during the fall or spring semesters opens additional opportunities for co-curricular experiences.
