  <title><![CDATA[The Office of the Dean of Students Presents]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Tanner Marcantel, assistant dean and director of Greek Affairs, recently presented at the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA) Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana. Tanner presented on "The Graduate Training Track," which discussed best practices in educating up-and-coming Greek Affairs professionals about competence development and career aspirations. In addition, Tanner co-presented "Sorostitutes &amp; Trophy Wives: A Continued Conversation about Marketing the Sorority Experience" which focused on the mixed messages that women receive during the sorority experience. Discussions centered around the marketing, developmental, and gender related issues that confront the identity of the contemporary sorority woman.</p><p>Peter Paquette, assistant dean and director of Student Integrity, will co-present this March at the American College Professional Association's (ACPA) College Student Educators International's annual conference. Peter, who is also vice-chair for the ACPA's standing Committee for Men and Masculinities, will present on "Effective Strategies for Engaging Men in Student Affairs." This presentation will discuss challenges facing men during these pivotal and formative college years as well as methods to effectively engage men on college campuses.</p>]]></body>
