{"181181":{"#nid":"181181","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Training, Education \u0026 Outreach, Blacklight (PSC), Keeneland (GaTech)","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThe Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, the National Institute for\u0026nbsp;Computational Sciences and Georgia Tech will present an OpenACC GPU\u0026nbsp;programming workshop on January 15 and 16, 2013.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EBased on demand, we will present this workshop at several satellite sites.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EOpenACC is the accepted standard using compiler directives to allow quick\u0026nbsp;development of GPU capable codes using standard languages and compilers. It\u0026nbsp;has been used with great success to accelerate real applications within very\u0026nbsp;short development periods. This workshop assumes knowledge of either C or\u0026nbsp;Fortran programming. It will have a hands-on component using Keeneland, an\u0026nbsp;XSEDE resource deployed at the National Institute for Computational\u003Cbr \/\u003ESciences.
