The goal of social justice education is full and equal participation by all groups in society.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe learning outcomes of the training are as follows:\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EUnderstand what social justice means for our campus and why Georgia Tech is committed to developing an inclusive campus environment for all staff and students\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EEngage in authentic conversations about the dynamics of difference on campus\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ERecognize the breadth of diversity on campus and explore our own social group memberships\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDiscuss the common campus dynamics for members of marginalized groups and privileged groups\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDeepen awareness of the types of noninclusive situations that occur on campus\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EExplore current practices, programs and policies that create inclusion, and begin to discuss \u0026nbsp;ways to create greater social justice through our respective responsibilities\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EUnderstand the role and responsibility of all staff members to create culturally competent programs and services that support the success of all students\u003C\/li\u003E\u003C\/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003EDr. Becky Martinez, a faculty member with the Social Justice Training Institute, will serve as the facilitator.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ESign up by January 4, 2013 at\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.gtdiversityforum.com\/social-justice-training-student-affairs\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003Ewww.gtdiversityforum.com\/social-justice-training-student-affairs\u003C\/a\u003E.
