ID Ranked 7 in Nation by DesignIntelligence Magazine

DesignIntelligence, a leading industry publication, has ranked Georgia Tech's graduate program in Industrial Design program at number 7 nationally for 2013. The journal recently published its annual compilation of "bests" among architecture and design schools, noting that according to the firms it surveyed, Georgia Tech was among those "best preparing students for success in the profession." The Georgia Tech ID program was not in the top 10 from 2011-2012, so the rise is relatively dramatic. Multiple schools ranked as high as Georgia Tech, including Ohio State, Savannah College of Art and Design, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. 2013's top-rated school for graduate studies was the Art Center of College and Design.

<!-- Disquisition: it's funny how I write these TODOs and then never
revisit them. It's as though the act of writing the thing down frees me
