From the twinkling lights to the jammed packed parking lots at the mall, it is difficult not to get consumed by the holidays. As a mother of two small children, I have grown to resent television commercials and have made it my mission in life to help them understand that the holiday season is not ALL about the \u0022stuff.\u0022 Rather it is a time to reflect upon what really matters most - family, friends, goodwill towards others and remembering for what we are thankful. While my work at home may be cut out for me, I am delighted to share with you a few insights from our staff in the Division about for what they are thankful.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cem\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EThis holiday season, I will be most thankful for my family and friends. My wife and twin 17 year old girls are the center of my life and are the individuals that I share my closest thoughts and feelings with. I will reflect on the good health of my family and will be thankful for my fulfilling career in Student Affairs and all the wonderful staff I have learned from and worked with over the last 40 years, especially those at Georgia Tech that I have come to know over the last 8 years.
