Under a grant from the \u003Cstrong\u003ECarnegie Foundation\u003C\/strong\u003E of New York, POSSE is building a global network of some of the leading young scholars who are moving beyond concepts about nuclear weapons inherited from the cold war.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe program brings\u0026nbsp;together promising advanced graduate students and young professors from\u0026nbsp;the United States, Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Israel, and France to\u0026nbsp;analyze alternative frameworks and methodologies for re-thinking the\u0026nbsp;requirements for strategic stability amid deep reduction in standing\u0026nbsp;nuclear arsenals.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;It also seeks to engage academics in the policy\u0026nbsp;debate over the wisdom and modalities of pursuing visions and steps\u0026nbsp;towards deep reductions, including nuclear disarmament.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;For more on the\u0026nbsp;program, please visit our website:\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.posse.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003Ehttp:\/\/www.posse.gatech.edu\/\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EFor the Vienna POSSE VI workshop, each POSSE scholar wrote a draft paper that they felt was relevant to either their country specifically or to the global debate on nuclear weapons more generally.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;
