171501 news 1352999543 1475896390 <![CDATA[Student Media Presents at NASPA 2013 Conference]]> Mac Pitts, assistant dean and director of Student Media has been selected to present his proposal "Breaking News: The Student Newspaper Is Here For An Interview" at this springs' NASPA 2013 Conference. The presentation will address how to build strong and supportive relationships with the campus student media organizations that cover their institution's news and events.

As one proposal reviewer states," This is a good learning opportunity for professionals, especially new professionals, to begin to feel comfortable speaking to student media in a safe and supportive way."

More than 1,000 proposals were submitted, only 400 were accepted. Congratulations Mac!
