{"164641":{"#nid":"164641","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Developing Undergraduates as Scholarly Rearchers \u0026 Writers","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EHow do we prepare our undergraduates at Georgia Tech to take a scholarly approach to research and writing?\u0026nbsp; How do we help our students learn to contribute to a particular body of knowledge and then highlight what they\u2019ve accomplished?\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThis workshop will feature efforts on campus that are helping undergraduates develop and demonstrate their skills in research and writing.\u0026nbsp; The first part of the workshop will focus on two examples of faculty and librarian partnerships that have successfully enhanced the scholarly research that students do in particular courses.\u0026nbsp; Next, the Office of Undergraduate Research will showcase what they are doing to engage students in research and writing.
