  <title><![CDATA[CycleAtlanta Bike App Launches]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://cycleatlanta.org/" target="_blank">CycleAtlanta</a>, a free smartphone app designed to help bikers navigate routes and encourage biking in the city, was publicly released at the Bike Expo held at Atlanta's City Hall on October 12, 2012. The app was developed by&nbsp;Georgia Tech researchers led by <a href="http://www.iac.gatech.edu/faculty-and-staff/faculty/bio/ledantec" target="_self"><strong>Christopher Le Dantec</strong></a>, assistant professor in the <strong>School of Literature, Media, and Communication</strong>, and Kari Edison Watkins, assistant professor in the School of&nbsp;Civil and Environmental Engineering.
